How do I book an appointment?

You can book, reschedule, or cancel appointments through our online booking system. New patients are required to complete an intake form before their first visit.

First visits are typically 60–75 minutes depending on your condition and treatment needs. This allows time for consultation, assessment, and your initial acupuncture treatment.

Please complete your intake form before your appointment if possible. Arrive a few minutes early, stay hydrated, and avoid caffeine or alcohol before treatment. Eating a light meal beforehand is recommended.

Treatment frequency depends on your condition. For acute issues, 1–2 sessions per week may be recommended initially, followed by maintenance sessions as your condition improves.

Yes, but we recommend completing them online before your appointment to allow more time for treatment. Please arrive 10–15 minutes early if you need to complete forms in person.

Yes. We offer direct billing for most extended health insurance providers including ICBC and WorkSafeBC. MSP claims are reimbursed rather than direct billed.

Insurance coverage depends on your individual plan and provider rules. If a claim is rejected, we will still assist you with the submission process and reimbursement options where applicable.

We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations may be subject to a fee equal to the treatment cost.

Acupuncture may help with back and neck pain, headaches and migraines, sciatica, sports injuries, stress and anxiety, insomnia, digestive issues, women’s health concerns, and general wellness support.

Acupuncture is generally not painful. Most patients feel only a mild sensation or slight pressure during needle insertion, followed by relaxation during treatment.

The number of sessions depends on your condition and how long it has been present. Acute issues may improve within a few treatments, while chronic conditions may require ongoing care for best results.

Yes, many extended health insurance plans in British Columbia cover acupuncture treatments. We also offer direct billing for ICBC and WorkSafeBC. MSP coverage may be available through reimbursement.
