FAQ

Q: How do I book an appointment?

A: Please use our online booking system here, to book, modify, and cancel appointments (more than 24 hours in advance). All new patients will be required to fill out our online intake forms.

Q: How long the appointment I should book?

A: It depends how complex or serious the case is and how many issues you want to be treated in this session. For the first visit, the initial appointment is recommended with 75 minutes which include 15 minutes to review your intake form for the history of present illness and the related background. Of course if you have one area pain only and it’s new totally, 60 minutes as the first visit will be good as well. Any questions, please contact us.

Q: For the First Visit, what you need to prepare?

A: Please complete forms online or download and fill out the pertinent forms and bring them completed to the appointment.

If you have insurance to claim, please call 6046291120 or just choose Please send me the Extended Health Insurance Authorization form in the Acupuncture Intake Form which you should get by email after the first booking online.

Upon your first treatment, Make sure you are settled in, use the washroom, have a glass of water, etc. before the start time of your appointment. Please avoid caffeine and alcohol before your appointment and no alcohol should be consumed the evening of a treatment. Make sure you are well hydrated and have eaten beforehand. An empty stomach could result in fainting and/or nausea.

Post treatment you may feel relaxed and it may be hard to concentrate on certain tasks. On your first appointment please refrain from planning too much afterwards in order to understand the after effects the treatment may have on you. Enjoy this time, this is your body feeling at ease, in balance, and flowing freely. Negative people and situations will begin to stagnate this openness, so honor yourself and take it easy.

You may feel a needle sensation where the needles were inserted for some time after the treatment.

Q: How often I need the treatment?

A: It depends how many issues you want to be treated, how much they bother you and how soon you need to improve or fix it. For example, if you have back pain with stress and sleep problems together which caused you hard to concentrate for your job and hard to sleep or rest, we will recommend having twice treatments per week for two weeks at least. Then the third week can be once only with improving or every two weeks.
